If I had words To make a day for you I'd sing you a morning Golden and new I would make this day Last for all time Give you a night Deep in moonshine

A Mother's Wish
I hope my children look back on today, And sees a mother who had time to play. There will be years for cleaning and cooking, But children grow up when you are not looking. Tomorrow I'll do all the chores you can mention, But today, my children need time and attention. So settle down cobwebs, dust go to sleep, I'm cuddling my children as children don't keep.
Not flesh of my flesh, Nor bone of my bone, But still miraculously my own. Never forget for a single minute, You didn't grow under my heart, But in it.
